While some bored horde are busying guarding alliance quest-givers, I’ll continue a previous post. This time though, there are some more familiar titles, and I’m in progress on watching all of these. As in, not finished.
Sailor Moon Sailor Stars
Why – Stars never aired in the states. Probably because of the whole changing sex thing.
Plot – Something about a sailor senshi turning evil. And stuff.
Thoughts – Kind of embarrassed to admit. I don’t even know how I got into Sailor Moon in the first place. I watched the first episode and decided to rewatch the series from the beginning. But then I realized that would take too long. So now I’m watching only some of them.
Future – It’ll be nice to finish this series, but even more embarrassing for me to watch nowadays.
Random – The fiver inner senshi’s surnames as they try to live ordinary lives in romanji are as follows, Tsukino, Mizuno, Hino, Kino, and Aino. See a pattern? In Japanese kana, it would look something like this 月野,水野,火野,木野, and 愛野. The first kanji essentially represents their corresponding element. Moon, water, fire, thunder (or tree), and love. One of the meanings for the last kanji is “civilian life.” Sort of creative, but reminds me of corny made up names.
Cardcaptor Sakura
Why – Because the English dub was so bad.
Plot -In third season, so instead of collecting cards, it’s transforming them.
Thoughts – This is more embarrassing than Sailor Moon. But this anime is just so cute.

Noir
Why -Soundtrack.
Plot – Girls with guns try to find their missing past.
Thoughts – Thoroughly enjoying it. So much, that I haven’t watched it at all lately because I don’t want it to end.
Future – Can’t wait to see the rest of the episodes. Which one was I on anyway?
Random – My two favorite quotes regarding guns… “Guns don’t kill people. I do!” and “Who needs courage when you have a gun. No YOU put your hands up!”
Ashita no Joe/Nadja
Why – Cause the name just bothers me. It translates to “Tomorrow’s (name)” or “(name) of Tomorrow.” And it just comes off as weird to me.
Plot – One’s about boxing and another is like the magical girls genre but without the magic (but apparently still with Tuxedo Mask).
Thoughts – No thoughts.
Future – So many anime to watch, I dunno if I’ll ever get to either of these. So many episodes too. One is a classic, and the other apparently has a strong underlying theme about social hierarchy (read about it on wikipedia it must b true!!!!).
Random – Are these two anime related at all?
Minami-ke
Why – While waiting for the rest of my family to get ready for our usual Christmas trip, I stumbled upon the Christmas episode for this on YouTube.
Plot – Slice of life of a three-person family, the oldest being in high school.
Thoughts – Haven’t laughed this hard since Azumanga Daioh.
Future – Two seasons, two different animation companies. Still need to finish up the first season.
Random – Kana reminds me of Kagura in Azumanga. And the other two I cannot tell the difference between in appearance.
That’s it. Last time, it felt like the post dragged on too long so I tried to shorten it. Plus it’s late, and I also want to hit level 70 and be done with that damn game. Or try to.
