Looking at my schedule for Fall Quarter at Western, I was thinking it can’t get any worse than this. It’s now Winter Quarter, and I’m already looking forward to Spring. Two labs, one at 8am, and a work shift that starts at 8am on a Friday. Plus, a ton of one hour gaps in my schedule. It couldn’t get any worse, right?
Well, it did. Because Brawl got delayed yet again. This time to March 9, which is near the end of Winter Quarter. I wonder how will this lovely quarter get even worse?
The top 5 list of my games played since coming back from break are as follows:
- World of Warcraft
- Guitar Hero
- Super Mario Galaxy
- Tetris Attack/Panel de Pon
- ???
Or was ??? supposed to be in the number 4 position? Blizzard games has consistently taken that top spot for a long time now. Was hoping Brawl could possibly dethrone WoW. I wouldn’t take it as hard if it weren’t for my personal dislike of my schedule (being the last of the juniors to register for 300-level classes and being near last to pick shifts generally doesn’t lead to favorable results).
And don’t get me wrong… Super Mario Galaxy is great. It’s so great that I don’t want to experience the greatness in one night, or even week.
The one redeeming thing about the Brawl delay is that I ordered Super Paper Mario the other night, and it was scheduled to be delivered around the 5th of February. That means this game won’t collect so much dust, I may even have to buy another game. Thinking Metroid, or Zack and Wiki.
